SynCo is one of the most experienced GMP contract manufacturers of biopharmaceuticals in the world. Since its inception in 2000, it has continued to produce both clinical and commercial products for the world market and has developed an extremely diverse experience set.

This experience includes the production of recombinant proteins, wild-type microbial antigens, polysaccharides and live biotherapeutics (microbial).  Customers include; Novartis, Cleveland BioLabs Inc., Versartis, and PATH.

SynCo continues to expand its expertise and to evaluate and add novel production technologies to its manufacturing offering.

GMP microbial production facilities at SynCo include:

• 1 x 200 L (wv) fermentor with associated downstream processing stream.
• 1 x 100 L (wv) Wave bioreactor for use in the production of a range of fermentative and anaerobic live biotherapeutics
• 1 x 1100 L (wv) fermentor with 2 associated downstream processing stream

All of SynCo's GMP facilities are licensed for the production of clinical phase and marketed products
