SynCo Bio Partners specializes in the aseptic filling and lyophilization of biopharmaceuticals and consistent with our aim to apply new technologies into commercial operations. SynCo has also been breaking new ground in the bulk freeze drying products in Lyoguard® trays.
SynCo expertise covers liquid filling into glass vials (2R to 20R size range) of products as diverse as monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, RNA, allergy vaccines as well as live biotherapeutic products (vials or Lyoguard trays). This expertise also extends to the use of aluminum containing formulations. Through one our partners we are also able to offer formulation and freeze drying cycle development for direct implementation at our site in Amsterdam.
Our Aseptic filling operations are centered around a dedicated automated aseptic suite consisting of a formulation/preparation area as well as the principle filling area which contains:
- Flexicon FMB210L Monobloc automated filling Machine (Fill, stopper and Cap in 1)
- Edwards Freeze drier (6m2)
Depending on vial size, fill sizes can range from 1,000-20,000 units per batch.
Following the completion of the filling operations, SynCo also has a well established QC team with experience in the release testing of biologics for clinical trials and for licensed products.
