SynCo’s progressive attitude to mammalian-cell-based production of biopharmaceuticals has paid dividends to many of its clients. Its mammalian GMP production facilities are focussed on the use of disposable technologies wherever possible (including Wave bioreactors), especially during cell culture and this offers our clients many benefits, including the fast establishment of cell culture process and scale-up.

SynCo was one of the first CMOs to adopt the Wave bioreactor-type technology and using the Wave system, recently successfully completed a Phase III campaign for the production of the recombinant protein (SynCo also developed this production process and produced early phase clinical material).

Wave-bioreactors available at SynCo include multiple 2 L, 20 L and 200 L- scale systems. Capabilities include the production of recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies.
