Amsterdam, Netherlands, August 2005 – SynCo Bio Partners, a leading, contract biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization, announced today that expansion work has begun on two new GMP manufacturing suites at the company’s facility in Amsterdam.  The virus and mammalian cell production facilities will be completed by the end of this year and expect to be operational by Q2, 2006.

The new (500 sqm) facilities will comprise the following features:

Microbial Fermentation room
Cell Production/ virus production room
Three purification rooms
Dedicated HVAC
Dedicated Buffer preparation area
Dedicated CIP/SIP facilities
Dedicated purified water production
Hydrogen Peroxide decontamination facilities
